This week was Andy and I's 3 year anniversary. Amity was sweet enough to come and watch Briley while we enjoyed a nice, long, quiet dinner at the Melting Pot. It was delicious; and did I mention quiet? As much fun as it is to go out to dinner with Briley, it is nice to get a night out with just the two of us.
We had swimming lessons on Thursday night. Amity came with us and took a few pictures of our little fish. She really enjoys being in the water and playing the different games. We have been working on getting in and out of the pool by ourselves and she has been doing pretty well. She has also finally began going down the steps backwards instead of trying to walk down them. I was beginning to wander how many falls it would take for her to realize that there is an easier way.
This weekend has marked the end of our nice relaxing weekends at home. We spent Saturday at the pool and then we went out for pizza that night. We tried a new place called Spin, and we really liked their pizzas! Afterwards, we went for a walk because it was such a nice night out.
We headed out to Legends on Sunday to do some shopping for vacation (two weeks and counting). We let Briley play in the water fountain and she loved it. A lady walked by while Briley was playing in the water, and told us that she would be perfect for an advertisement for Legends. We may be partial, but we thought she was awfully cute too! She was famished after playing in the water so we had to stop my Memas Bakery for a chocolate chip cookie. We went home with a very happy, wet, chocolate faced girl who was asleep before we even hit the interstate.
