This past weekend was a busy one, Autumn’s Dad, Asa and Amity all came into town for one of Autumn’s cousins wedding. They came into town late Friday night and the wedding was not until Sunday afternoon so we had all day Saturday to hang out. We decided to take the gang to Weston, MO as it is someplace that Autumn has been wanting to go and we thought it would be a place everyone would enjoy. We met Autumn’s uncle Rick and his girlfriend Lisa there and had some dinner and drinks at the Weston Brewery. Asa and I took Briley to play at the playground while everyone else went shopping and I think everyone enjoyed their respective activities. There were a couple wineries in Weston that we wanted to visit but we just ran out of time. There was an apple orchard outside of town that Autumn wanted to stop at and even though the picking season was over, we did pick up some delicious apple cider donuts for breakfast the next morning. We then had to hurry home for what turned out to be a very disappointing Mizzou game. On Sunday we made the trek up to Excelsior Springs for Autumn’s cousin Melisa’s wedding. It was an outside wedding and I don’t think you could have asked for a more beautiful fall day. It all made for an enjoyable afternoon and the couple is in for an exciting life together. Her husband, Nicholas, is from Paris France and that is were they will be living; Autumn say she is jealous but this is coming from the person who does not want to move any farther away from Kirksville than we already are. Well, that pretty much sums up our busy weekend; we hope yours was just as enjoyable.
