We had our annual Fall Festival last week at school. It was Briley's first time of wearing her Halloween costume and I must say she was adorable. I was a little worried that people wouldn't know that she was Cindy Lou Who, but people knew who she was. I didn't get a full length picture of her, but we will on Halloween. This was one of my first events that I planned for the school and I think it really well. I had different activities set up in each class for the kids to do, and the activities seemed to be successful. Now I've go to begin planning the holiday party!
Andy's parents and Molly came down on Saturday to spend the night. They had to pick Amanda and Carson up at the airport on Sunday morning. We headed down to the Plaza that evening for dinner at Houston's and to see the Fire on Water show. The show was basically bonfires that were lit in the middle of Brush Creek. They had bands playing, food booths set up, and you just walked around smelling the aromas of a bonfire. They also had flame dancers on the sides of the creek which were impressive. It was the perfect evening to grab some hot chocolate and relax! We picked Amanda and Carson up at the airport on Sunday and went out to breakfast. It was nice spending some time with them since we haven't seen them since Labor Day. Afterwords, I went shopping for a winter coat for Briley and then we went around and looked at houses that we had found online that we liked. Now that gas prices are down, we decided it would be okay to go cruise. We have found one that we love so we will see if it is still there in a few months! Fingers crossed!
