Welcome Summer!

Last weekend we headed to St. Louis for Kaitlin's bachelorette party and Zane's bachelor party. The bachelor party was Friday night at the Cardinal's game. Unfortunately the game was rained out, but they still got their money's worth in drinks and food. The girls to the kids to Monkey Joes and my friend Katie met us there with her daughter Charlotte. We showed up at around 7:30 and they unfortunately closed at 8:00. The kids didn't get too much time to play, but I think they really enjoyed themselves. Briley is a girl with no fear. She went right to the top of the slide and flew down without hesitation. She had so much fun she went up again for a second and third time.
The next day headed to the winery for Kaitlin's party. It was very relaxing and a lot of fun. We enjoyed trying all the different wines and looking at the gorgeous landscape. Afterwords, we went back to Sara and Ryan's for pizza and to get ready to go out. We went out for a short little bit and then went back home. I think everyone was exhausted from the day.
This weekend we welcomed summer with icecream, grilling, slip n' slides, and gardening. What fun! It was a gorgeous hot weekend here and we spent most of our time outside. Our neighbors got a blow up water park that was a hit with all the kids. We all know where they will be playing this summer. We got Briley's pool out on Friday and by Saturday Viva had popped a hole in it. That did not last long! Hopefully she won't get a hold of the other swim toys.
Andy and I also planted some flowers out front in our flower beds and added mulch. They look really good right now and hopefully we will be able to keep them that way. We'll see what they do!
