We got home last night from our annual trip to the beach and we had a blast! Briley really enjoyed the beach this year and it was hard to take her away from it. She enjoyed playing in the sand, looking for seashells, taking walks, and being wrapped up in her Aerial towel. She had a lot of fun playing with all her cousins, uncles, aunts, and grandparents. As you will see in the pictures below, Briley loved wearing her sunglasses at the beach. She had four different pairs and she always kept them on. She would get really mad at us if we took them off when we went inside.
We spent our days playing at the beach and our nights were spent crab hunting, going to Seaside for delicious Frost Bites and entertainment, and celebrating my Mom's birthday. We took her out to eat at one of our favorite spots in Seaside and it was delicious. There is nothing better than grits and crabcakes when you are on the beach. Yummy!
Overall, we had a wonderful time and I'm sad that it went so fast. Time flies when you are having fun! Andy started his new job today and I am anxiously waiting for him to get home and tell us about it. Briley was very disappointed when we got home today and he wasn't here. She kept saying "Where Daddy go?" I guess we will have to get used to him not being here when we get home at nights.
