This past weekend we headed to Kirksville. We had planned on going home for Easter but I couldn't sit in the car on my tailbone for that long so we waited another week. It still hurt, but I managed to make it as long as I sat on a pillow. Baylor got to meet his Uncle Andrew, Uncle Rick and Lisa, and his Great Grandma while we were home. Jackson celebrated his 6th birthday on Friday and it was a Mario Brothers themed party. He got a lot of awesome toys that he had fun playing with the rest of the night. His party excited Briley for her own Minnie Mouse party coming up next week. We have been busy getting things ready for the big day. She has been anticipating it since Christmas. Andy and his Dad took the pool cover off and began getting it ready for summer on Saturday. Briley got to swim in the hot tub and she loved it! We also got to enjoy lounging around outside and having homemade icecream. It felt just like summer! That night we went to my Dad's for dinner and Rick and Lisa came to meet Baylor. While we were there Briley found my Dad's hats and decided she needed one to take home. She had picked my Dad's Mississppi State hat, but Dad pursuaded her to take his Mizzou hat instead. On Sunday we met my Grandma in Macon on our way back home so that she could meet Baylor and get Briley measured for her birthday dress. It was a quick little stop so hopefully Baylor and Briley will get to see more of her at Briley's birthday next week.
