Yesterday was May Day and Briley got to carry on a tradition from my childhood; May Day baskets! We worked on decorating the baskets all week and then she and I delivered them to each of the neighbors yesterday afternoon. Before delivering the baskets, we had to first get our racing shoes on, and then we had to put on our bike helmet for safety. You never know what might happen when you are ringing door bells and running. Briley really had a lot of fun sneaking around the cul-de-sac! After we delivered our flowers, we got dressed up and headed over to Ashley's Purple Star Benefit which raised money for cancer research for Sinonasal Undifferentiated Carcinoma. Andy's cousin passed away from this last winter and this benefit was held in her honor. Their goal was to raise 8,000 dollars and they were already at 5,000 dollars before the event took place. We all had a lot of fun with the band that they had playing, free massages:), silent and live auction, food, and drinks. Briley really enjoyed dancing to the band. She never left the floor while they played. She kept asking Andy throughout the night where the cake was. I think she thought we were at a wedding. On Sunday we went to Lawerence to visit the newest little Stetson. Shawn and Katie had a baby girl named Paige Elizabeth about two weeks ago and she is precious! You should have seen her compared to Baylor. He was a giant next to her. It is amazing how much they can grow in a month. Congratulations Katie and Shawn! Last week I was feeling crafty and made the cutest little newborn outfit which I gave to little Paige and I learned how to make bows. I went to the store the other day to buy Briley some new bows and after seeing 8.00 dollar prices on a single bow, I decided it was time I learned to make them myself. I am really enjoying my maternity leave! I am getting so many things done that I have been wanting to do for a long time.
