Perfect Memories

Last week we took our first trip to Walt Disney World as a family and it was a week full of memories and dreams coming true for one little girl. Here are a few of my favorite moments of our trip:
Briley's unbridled excitement from the moment we got her up at 4 AM to fly out to the moment we landed back in Kansas City. Briley sitting on the plane in her Mickey Mouse dress, red Converse sneakers, and her Daddy's Goofy hat saying, "Goofy is ready to go!!!"

The moment she saw Mickey Mouse for the first time. She went racing for Main Street waving her hand at him as he passed by in the parade. Her excitement is overwhelming.

Baylor and Piglet:) As Briley got Piglet's autograph, Andy was holding Baylor close to Piglet. Baylor reached out and touched his cheek and then turned around and started crying hysterically. Our little man was not a fan of the characters.

The looks on peoples faces as 26 people (5 double strollers and one single stroller) traipsed through the parks.

Animal Kingdom favorites: Briley loved being up close to giraffes in the safari tour, her favorite ride was the water rapids, and our favorite was watching her at the 3-D It's a Bugs Life movie. She had us laughing so hard as she tried to swat those bugs away. I don't think we could get her in that movie again.

Hollywood Studios Favorites: Briley met Phineas and Ferb which was kind of a big deal, she loved watching Beauty and the Beast Musical (she has been singing "Be Our Guest" ever since), stumbling upon the Disney Junior Dance Club. Briley got to dance with all her favorite characters and it was later at night so there weren't many kids in there. There was a balloon artist handing out balloons, she asked Briley if she wanted a flower and Briley said, "No, I want a blue sword." Andy got me on Rockin Roller Coaster, but I still wasn't up for Tower of Terror or as Jackson called it, the Tower of Happiness. Dinner at 50s Prime Time. Our waitress made Andy eat his potatoes and called Ryan a tattle tail after telling on Lissy for not eating her mushrooms.

Epcot Favorites: Briley's favorite ride was Test Track and thanks to Jackson being a little scared about riding it, the guy working the ride gave us fast passes so that he wouldn't worry about it in line. Unfortunately Lissy, Caroline, Molly, Mike, and Mary Carol jumped in line to early and missed the fast passes. They finally joined us an hour and a half later:) Dinner a Via Napoli was amazing!!! The ride Soaring was probably one of the best simulator rides that I have ever done.

Last but not least, Magic Kingdom Favorites: "Good Morning, Good Morning" to start our day. Lunch at Cinderella's Castle:) Briley talked the princesses ears off as they came by. We also loved listening to her yell "Cinderella, Cinderella, I'm here" in her raspy un-princess like voice. Splash Mountain and my fear of heights. Briley's favorite ride was the Buzz Lightyear ride. Baylor's favorite was It's a Small World. Briley getting picked for Monster's Inc Laugh Floor. She became so shy when the camera was on her. Not getting on Astro Orbiter. They miss counted and there was not a seat for me which I did not care at all, but they gave me a free pass for any ride at Magic Kingdom for our family to go to the front of the line. We used it on our last night for one more ride on Buzz Lightyear. Seeing an old couple on motorized scooters being attacked by balloons on Main Street saying "She's doing it on purpose!" Riding the Teacups with Alice and Wonderland. Wishes Nighttime Spectacular...unbelievable. Above all, seeing our little girl's dreams come true. We'll be back before we know it to experience this all over again with Mr. Baylor and I can't wait.

Getting ready to head to the airport.

First encounter with Mickey Mouse and all the Disney Characters.

We made it!
