Today we are all cozied up in our house after another crazy snow storm. We have had a couple busy and somewhat stressful few weeks so its nice to be able to take today to relax and get things done around the house that I have been wanting to do... like going through spring clothes, cleaning the oven, doing some laundry. Lots of fun stuff:) We also took some time out to have a little fun too. The kids and I went out earlier to gather snow and make some yummy snow ice cream which Briley thought was the best surprise of the day. We also got all of her homework done or the week which is awesome. One of her assignments was to count her teeth so we started looking in her mouth and realized she had two molars coming in on the bottom. So weird! I didn't know my five year old would be teething.
Last weekend I celebrated my 31st birthday (not quite as exciting as the beach last year), but nice. We basically hung out at home all day. Briley decorated my birthday cake for me and Andy made me chicken and dumplings with fried apples for dinner. I went to the doctor last weekend and they told me that my blood test showed that I was low in iron so Andy bought me some filet mignon since I have been craving steak. We'll see when we will be able to dig the grill out and grill them.
The two weekends before that we headed up to Kirksville for Asa's courtwarming game and then again for Mr. Owen's 2nd birthday. I unfortunately didn't take as many pictures as I should have, but I do have a couple of Owen's birthday party. It was nice to have a couple of low key weekends back in Kirksville. It seems like we usually are running around when we go home. Andy and I even got a date night and went to AJ's for dinner one night while we were home.
