Soccer kicked off a few weeks ago and it has been a fun season so far for Briley and Baylor. This is Baylor's first year and wow, there is a difference between the boys versus the girls. When Briley was his age it was goal after goal scored. With Baylor, they are all about tackling each other and rolling around on the ground. Nowhere near the ball. It is rough and tumble! They are also funny because they don't stop when the ball goes out of bounds. They just keep playing right on in to the game next to them which the other teams love. Baylor is loving it though and he did score two goals at his last game which was pretty exciting for him.
Briley's soccer games have stepped up a notch this year with goalies and referees. Briley scored her first soccer goal of the season on Sunday so that was pretty exciting. She also volunteered to be the goalie for half of the game:/ I think we can all agree that being a goalie is not for her. No one scored on her, but that is because the ball never got close enough to her thank goodness because she was too busy swinging from the goalie poles than paying attention. One of the Mom's took pictures at this game of all the kids and they were great. So much better than what I can get with my phone.
