The taste of salt, the dance of waves...

Briley made her first trip to the beach this week! We drove (yes I said drove) to Gulf Shores on Sunday. It was a long trip but Briley did surprisingly well. We enjoyed beautiful sunny days relaxing at the beach. She liked going to the beach for a couple hours a day, but that was about it. It was so hot that we didn't want to keep her out there too long. We went to Fort Morgan (one of the most haunted places in the U.S.) for a candlelight tour. We thought it would be a lot of fun, but as you can tell from Andy's face it was not. There was too much talking and not enough touring of the Fort. Oh well! The trip was a nice end to my maternity leave. Briley and I will be starting school again on Monday. We will be sure to update on her first day of school!

Looks like you all had a wonderful time! I would love to have a copy of the one of the 3 of you sitting on the beach and one of the whole family. You can even just email them and I'll go have them copied!!! Give Briley kisses and higs from the Ragar's!
