Briley's First Bearcat Game

This weekend Briley got to experience her first Northwest Bearcat football game and it turned out to be a nail biter. It was the annual Northwest vs. Pitt State game at Arrowhead Stadium and Northwest won with a touchdown on fourth down and one yard to go in overtime and as you can imagine, Briley was overjoyed. Besides being an awesome game, it was great to get to see all of our friends. The last time most of them saw Briley was at the Royals game in June so needless to say she has become a lot more active and they all seemed to really enjoy holding and playing with her; it doesn’t hurt that she is very generous with the BIG smiles.

Lately Briley has been trying to sit up on her own and today she has made some great strides in keeping her balance for longer periods of time; however, when she does a face plant, she get very upset. It has been so amazing watching Briley’s personality take shape and I think she might be a high maintenance gal (typical woman). Tomorrow I have the day off for Columbus Day but Autumn still has to go to work so Briley is going to stay home from school and spend the day with me, it should be a good time. Well better get going, got to get my rest for the busy day of playing Mr. Mom.
