Long Time, No Blog!

Hey there everyone, sorry for the delay in our blogging. We had some “internet connection issues” which translates to we were piggy backing off of another wireless connection before they moved out and we had to have our own wireless service installed. Some people might call me cheap, but I prefer thrifty; why pay $40 when you don’t have to? Anyway, here is what you have missed over the past couple of weeks:

On Halloween our little pink flamingo was tired and grumpy (as you can tell from the lack of a smile in the pic). We went over to the Taylor’s house that night because we just had to show her off to someone; once we got there, Briley perked up and was a good sport the rest of the night.

The next weekend, Aunt Sara and Uncle Ryan came into town for a wedding. After the seven trips we made to St. Louis this summer, it was nice to have the opportunity to entertain them for a change, which is not to hard when you have Briley around. We will get another chance to entertain them as they are coming back to the safe side of the state this weekend for another wedding.

Last Monday night was a big night, Grandma Julie came down and went to the Garth Brooks concert with Autumn and I at the new Sprint Center. It was the first of nine performances he was doing in Kansas City and I have to say it was the best concert I have ever seen. I just cannot describe the energy and the appreciation coming from the crowd and Garth, you could not tell who was more excited to be there.

This past Friday we traveled to Shelbyville to surprise Autumn's Grandma for her 60th Birthday ;) and after ringing the doorbell for five minutes, they finally let us in. It was great to see them and they always enjoy seeing Briley.

Well that’s about all you missed; we have a busy couple weeks coming up as next week my Grandpa Mike and Karen are flying the whole Early crew out to Colorado Springs for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Autumn and I are very excited to see everyone and get away for a few days on a “mini vacation”. Now that we don’t have to “share” an internet connection, we will keep you posted more regularly.
