Can't Grieve for too Long.

Now you know we could not go too long without a dog! This morning we hit the road and traveled down to Columbus Kansas to pick out our new puppy. We decided to get a Goldendoodle; it is a mix of Golden Retriever and Poodle and is basically a Golden Retriever that does not shed. We had a couple names in mind and after spending some time with the puppy and seeing her personality we made our decision, Viva. This name has a couple meanings; it is a reference to our expected move to Las Vegas and given the Early families luck with dogs, it means “long live”. On our way home, Autumn and I were discussing who out of us would be the favorite but as soon as we got home it became very clear that it would be neither of us. When we were in the room Viva tended to hide under the coffee table if we were not holding her but when we left the room Viva came out of hiding and started kissing on and playing with Briley. Ever since, were Briley goes, Viva goes; it’s pretty cute to watch. Well we better get going; the Mizzou game is on and needs my full concentration.
