Happy Easter!

After work on Thursday, Andy dropped me off in Columbia on his way back to Kirksville. It was Amity's 21st birthday and I helped her celebrate (Actually, I watched while she and her friends celebrated). Going out on a Thursday night in a college town definitely made me feel old. That is of course until one of the bars was not going to let me in because they thought I was using a fake ID! Can you believe that? After telling him I am married with a baby and probably older than him, he let me in. I headed to Kirksville early on Friday with my Dad and Uncle. It was my first night away from Briley and I survived! Amity was on her way to continue celebrating her birthday in Panama City, FL for spring break. It would be nice to be going somewhere warm right about now!

We met Tabitha and Jonathan for lunch on Friday. We hadn't seen them for awhile so it was nice to catch up with them. We will be excited when they move back to Missouri in May! Now Briley needs a friend to play with!

Sara's baby shower and birthday celebration were on Saturday. There were so many little babies at the shower. It was so much fun watching them interact with one another. Ellie and Briley have really been playing more and more together. They have also been fighting over toys more and more. One of the above pictures shows Briley pulling Ellie's hair to get a brush out of her hands. So sweet! Not to worry, Carson grabbed her hair and gave it a good yank before we left one night. What goes around, comes around!

Andy came out as the overall winner in the Easter egg hunt this year. He was very excited with his winnings! Briley did not care much for the Easter egg hunt. She just stood there and cried because we had sat her down in the grass. Oh well, maybe she will enjoy it more next year! Briley must have been a good girl this year because the Easter bunny gave her 4 baskets! She got a lot of cool stuff including a bunny rabbit, a little chicken, bubbles, a duck that dances, and bath toys. We went to Church that morning with my Mom and then had lunch with my Grandparents. It was hard to believe it was Easter and not Christmas with the snow on the ground. I hope it warms up soon!
