Last weekend we went home to celebrate Autumn’s birthday late and Amity’s birthday early. We hadn’t been home for over a month so everyone was anxious to see Miss Briley Mae (they could care less about us these days). Briley got to spend time playing with her cousin’s Ellie and Jackson. She has a fascination with baby’s pacifiers and she repeatedly took Ellie’s out of her mouth. She loves the reaction that babies give her when she steals them; typically crying. She would never take a pacifier and I guess she believes no one else should have one either!
My Dad took all of us out to Pear Tree to celebrate our birthday. Andy and I had been looking forward to that meal for months! It was absolutely delicious! Briley enjoyed herself at dinner too! She ate about everything she came into contact with. Thanks Dad for taking us out.
My Grandparents came up Sunday to continue the birthday celebration. My Mom made dinner for Amity and I. She topped it off with a red velvet cake. Yummy! Briley especially enjoyed it. She has got a sweet tooth! My Grandma didn’t want Briley to feel left out so she brought her present too. She got lamb ears and a new bib. She really liked the lamb ears! She kept them on her head for quite awhile. Thank you for lunch and the gifts. I was very excited to receive the rest of my China and a few extra pieces. I can finally host a dinner and not have to borrow from others!
We also posted a video of Briley walking tonight. We finally got a decent one of her. It is often times hard to capture her steps so we did the best we could tonight. She is really doing a great job, and we love her excitement. She is very proud of herself.
