Not again! I'm sure that was thought going through Briley's head this afternoon at the doctors office. Unfortunately, some of the levels on Briley's last blood test were a little lower than the doctor felt comfortable with so we had to go back for another round of blood test today. As the last experience was too traumatizing for Autumn, this time around it was my turn and I must say, it was no walk in the park. I felt so bad because while we were out in the waiting room she was so happy. She was making conversation with the receptionists and everyone in the waiting room and had no clue what was about to happen. Once we got back to the exam room she was perfectly fine sitting on my lap but once the nurse came over and sat by us to start drawing the blood it was like a light bulb flipped on in her head and she remembered. Never did I realize before how strong Briley was but it took a lot of force to just hold her still for the minute or so it took. Evidently it took a lot of energy out of Briley as well because she was asleep before we even got to the car. We will find out the results on Monday but I gave Papa Early the numbers from her last blood test and he did not seem to concerned with them so that helped to calm our concerns. We will let you know what we hear.
