Trip to St. Louis and Mother's Day

We headed to St. Louis last Friday to meet the new addition to the Sedlak Family. We were so excited to finally get to meet her! The only way to describe her is, Beautiful. Her name is very fitting of her. Sara and Ryan seem to both be doing well. It is hard to believe that Briley was that small just one year ago. Andy and I just can't believe how fast she grew up.

Briley and I went out for breakfast with Katie and Charlotte on Saturday morning. It was good to catch up with Katie and to see how much Charlotte has grown since the last time I saw her. She will be turning one next week. Later on that day we headed to Grant's Farm. It started raining the moment we drove into the parking lot and it rained the whole time we were there. As you can see by the pictures, we had a fun time in the rain! As we got our free beers at the end, the bartender told us to bring Briley behind the bar to get her picture taken. He was a really sweet guy. We all decided that he had the ultimate retirement job. You could tell he was really enjoying himself.

We got up early on Sunday and headed back home. We went out to eat at Zio's for dinner and then Andy and Briley gave me my gift. They gave me Photoshop for Mother's Day and I absoulutely love it! I spent my night playing around with photos. Briley also made a very sweet card for me and she painted a heart shaped jewelry box. She came to my classroom and presented her gift with a big smile on her face. Adorable!

Today was Briley's official first day in the Ladybug Room at school. She is no longer a Sweet Pea. So sad! Now she is in the biting one year old room. We will see how she does! She was extremely cranky today because she has some teeth coming in. Hopefully they break through soon.
