Wow, Finley is growing up way too fast for me. Finley's birthday was on a Sunday this year, and she had requested breakfast rolls. After breakfast, we were off to Church. Afterwards she had requested getting her nails done. They didn't have time to do mine, or my Mom's, but she didn't care that we weren't with her. She has talked about getting her nails done since we did it on her last birthday. Next up, was Starbucks. She tried to order a drink off of their "secret menu" that she had learned all about on You Tube. They didn't know what she was talking about, so she went with a frappucchino. After our drinks, it was time to go to her first soccer game of the season. She had a couple of goals, and her team won! We then went back home so that Andy could make her chicken and dumplings for dinner. The Brawner family came over as well. We ate, opened gifts, and had ice cream cake to finish the night. She was excited to get her new tennis shoes, Kindle, fun new outfits, and I got her in to the KC Ballet for their Dance Day so got to take at their studio. Overall, it was a perfect day of celebrating her.
Finley Grace, you are the happy in our family; the one who cheers, cares for, and loves with her whole heart. We love watching you grow into the wonderful young lady that you are. We are so proud of you, and love you so very much! Keep that light shining!
