Our Little Fish

Well, this past week marked a big change in the Early household; I started my new job at Cornerstone Bank. One of the many benefits is that it is located just a few blocks from our place which is very nice given the ever rising costs of gas. Not only do I think this will be an exciting new job, it will be a great learning experience the will open a number of new possibilities. After the typical mind numbing first week I was ready for a relaxing weekend and that is exactly what we got. We had great weather all weekend and were able to make it to the pool on both Saturday and Sunday and I must say that Briley absolutely loves it…a little too much. We have learned over the past few months the there is not much Briley is scared of and the pool is no exception. While standing on the steps she would repeatedly fall face first into the water, after Autumn or I would pull her out she would just laugh and do it again. Her braveness does mean that Autumn and I don’t get much time to relax because if we are not watching her she will just walk right into the pool. She is also Ms. Social when we are out in public; she has yet to find a stranger. On Saturday night Papa and Grandma Early came to stay the night with us so they could catch their flight Sunday morning to Seaside. Sadly they got there after Briley had gone to bed and we only got to talk with them for less than an hour before we all decided it was time to go to bed. It was still good to see them and Briley will get to see them plenty on vacation in a little over a month. Tonight we saw one of Briley’s new tricks on display, she likes to climb up on our coffee table; it’s her new stage. Tonight we also decided to let Briley feed herself and surprisingly she did pretty good; that was until she decided to ditch the spoon and just use her hands as you can see in the pictures below. Well, I hope everyone is having a good week.
