Home is where your story begins...

We have officially moved into our house!!!! We are so excited to finally be into the house after weeks of hard work. We got our house February 23rd and have been working non-stop. We painted the whole interior, replaced all the faucets, light fixtures, had the carpets cleaned, the wood floors refinished, and Andy has now moved to the outside. We have worked from sun up to sundown to make this house our own and it's getting there. Thank you to all of those that helped us make our house a home. We are forever grateful to all of you because there is no way Andy and I would have been able to do this on our own.
Briley did very well hanging out at the house while we were busy working. As you can see in the below pictures, our child was a little neglected during this whole process. I have always been annoyed with parents who used the tv as a babysitter, but it was truly a blessing while we painted! She would watch her movies and eat whatever junk we could scrounge up for her and she was pretty content. I really felt like a terrible Mom some nights when I would take her back to the apartment for a bath with BBQ Pringles all over her face and paint from head to toe. She was our little white trash baby, but we are now moved in and she loves to explore her new house. Viva has also enjoyed her backyard. It is hard to get her to come in at nights.
Our cul-de-sac is great! We have met just about all the neighbors and they all seem to be very nice. One of ladies came over a couple days ago to get our phone number and email address. She said that they have an annual Easter Egg Hunt on our street and movie nights outside during the summer. What Fun!! The kids are always playing outside and the parents set up their lawn chairs along the street each night to talk. Andy said we needed to invest in some fold up chairs soon. We can't wait to begin our story in our new house.
I have pictures of our house below. I don't have all my pictures hung up on the walls yet, but I figured I had better do an update anyway. Just give us a call if anybody wants to go help Andy paint the outside of the house!
