Nine Weeks to Go!

Briley and I went to my doctor's appointment today and we got a pleasant surprise. I ended up being put in the patient room with the ultrasound machine and so Dr. Peck decided to go ahead and take a look at the baby to see if it was head down. Briley was very excited to get to see the baby and has been dragging the picture around. The baby looks good and is facing down. It is hard to believe that I only have nine weeks left! Time has really flown this time around. I would say that my nesting isn't really at home, it is at school. I think I am driving all of my employees crazy, but I want them to be prepared for our QRS evaluation in March since I may or may not be there for it. Therefore, I have been going through the classes and making them get ready two months early. Oh well, at least they will be ready; I am not a procrastinator so I don't want it to wait till the last minute. Here is a picture of our little one. It isn't the best, but my doctor really wasn't taking the time to take a good picture. The baby is laying on it's side looking at us if you can't tell. I was just excited to see it one more time before it is born. Briley has been pretty entertaining lately. Her vocabulary is growing more and more everyday. She has had quite a few funny moments lately. One thing that she has been doing is pulling up my shirt to see the baby and she will say, "Oooohhh she's so cute." Like she can really see the baby. She has also been in a dancing mood. As soon as we get home she is bugging me to turn on the stereo and get her tutu so she can dance. She has gotten really particular on the type of music she wants to listen to. Her song right now is Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" and she informed me today that she did not like Brad Paisley's newest song and wanted me to change it. Lastly, Am came last weekend to watch Briley so Andy and I could have a night away. She brought her a pair of tennis shoes that she had gotten her for Christmas and hadn't fit her so she had exchanged them. Briley was so excited to finally get them! She put them on immediately and went running through the house. She calls them her "racing shoes". Thank you Am for watching her for us! We had so much fun going out to dinner, the movies, and spending the night on the Plaza. Briley misses you greatly and keeps asking me when you are coming back again. Am told us that she didn't ask about us once while we were gone. She didn't miss us a bit.
