This past Friday night, we got tickets to go see Sesame Street at the Sprint Center. We got tickets at the last minute from one of my parents at school and Briley was so excited. Daddy even splurged and bought her an elmo light toy that he says was worth ten cents and he paid fifteen dollars for. She loved every moment of the show and I am sure this is the beginning of many more of these fun shows for us. We went to Lawerence on Saturday to have lunch with our friends Katie and Shawn and to watch the MU game. Katie and Shawn are expecting a baby girl on May 2nd and it will be their first. We are so happy for them and excited that our kids will be so close in age. Briley really loved their little dog named Kiwi. I'm sure Kiwi slept the rest of the day after we left because I'm sure she was not used to a toddler chasing her around. Briley was just giving her a little glimpse into her future when the baby arrives. Thank you Shawn and Katie for inviting us over for lunch! That night we went out to eat at our new favorite chinese restaurant and then we went over to our old neighbors house to watch the KU/K-State game. Briley was very excited about playing with her future husband Jake. It had been awhile since she had seen him.
