Last weekend we went home so that Andy could help his Dad work on their basement. My Grandma came up Saturday morning to pick up her new dog. It is a cocker spaniel that someone had abandoned and was found by a family in a nearby town and they just wanted to find a good home for her. Her name is Maggie and she is a sweetie. I think she will be perfect company for my Grandma. After we picked her up, we went to eat lunch at a new deli in town that was really good. Their croissants are amazing! Briley and I then went to my Dad's house to hang out and watch the Mizzou game before going over to the Early's for a Valentine's day party. After we had dinner, the kids had a scavenger hunt through the house with their Valentine's gifts as the finale. Briley was very excited about her lollipop as you can see by the picture. The adults were all really excited about the new Wii game they got. Everyone headed downstairs and the games began. After everyone had a turn, Briley, Ellie, Jackson, Zane, and Andy went out to the "big bath tub" as Briley calls it. Briley had so much fun that she told Andy and I that we needed to go to the store and get one. Andy stayed home with Briley on Monday because it was President's Day. They went around and priced carpet while I went to work. That night I got home and Andy had done Briley's hair and he was very proud of himself. He had never done it before. We went out to Nebraska Furniture Mart that night and bought our carpet. It is supposed to be installed in two weeks and then the basement will be done. Yea!! I have been busy this week trying to get everything ready for the baby. I am now 36 weeks and I would be shocked if the baby doesn't come within the next two weeks with the way I am feeling. I had a prenatal massage yesterday that was glorious. My massage therapist gave me some tips with using a tennis ball to help relieve any pain I may have from here on out. I also went to look for a boy outfit today at two stores that I drove between stores so I wouldn't have to walk, and then went to Target to do some shopping. I got half way through the store and I just couldn't make it any further. I gave up on the rest of my list and came home. It is pretty sad and frustrating when you can't get through a store without the feeling that the baby is going to fall out. I had reached my breaking point and I am now done for the day. My list is getting shorter and hopefully I will be able to get everything else ready this week and then the baby is more than welcome to come:)
