Last weekend we headed out for our annual trip to the pumpkin patch. As many of you know, Andy loves this trip. He rants and raves every year because you have to pay to get in, and then pay for your pumpkins. I try to explain that it isn't about the cost, it is about the experience. Andy's parents were in town so they were lucky enough to go out with us. It was a hot and dusty one this year. I would take that over the bitter cold of last year though. We can't complain about the beautiful fall we have had this year. We checked out the animals, played in the straw, did a little swinging, and then went out to get our pumpkins in the field. After choosing our pumpkins and paying, we stopped by the cider mill nearby for some apple cider slushies and cider doughnuts. Yum Yum!
