A Super Hero to the Rescue!

This past Saturday we celebrated Briley's 4th birthday by having a super hero party back home. Briley really wanted a super hero party that was orange and yellow because those are her favorite colors. Well, I must say it was pretty difficult to pull off and make cute, but I think it turned out all right even with a few hiccups. That afternoon Mom and I went to pick up the cake and my Mom called the person who was doing it to ask what street she lived on because she couldn't remember. She asked my Mom why she was coming over and my Mom said we were there to pick up the cake. All I could here was OH NO I FORGOT THE CAKE!!! At that point I was thinking oh no what am I going to do with the party four hours away and a girl who is really looking forward to her cake. Well, she said she could still do it but it would have to be modified a bit and I said whatever she could get done would be fine. A hurried over to Andy's parents and began getting dinner ready and the house decorated.
When Briley woke up from her nap, I gave her the present which contained her cape and bat woman shirt. I of course tried to girl it up with a cute pink tulle skirt but Miss Briley would have none of that so we went with jeans. It was her birthday so I wasn't going to fight that battle today. She marched into the party full of the confidence of a super hero.
The party was full of food, drinks, presents, cake (pretty cute considering she had to scramble to do it), mask making, and dart shooting:)

Super Hero kit from Aunt Lissy. She played with it the whole way home!
