Disney Memories

Last Wednesday we were off on a whirlwind vacation to Florida for a little fun in the sun.  The kids have a countdown and we finally got to pull number one down.  They were so excited.  On our first night at Disney we went to the Grand Floridian for dinner with Cinderella, the Prince, Step Mother, and Step Sisters.  We were lucky enough to sit at the table with the boys, and they were loving every minute of it.  After dinner we went back to our resort and settled in for the night.
Thursday morning we got up early and went to the Magic Kingdom.  Baylor's main goal was to see Mickey Mouse and he really didn't care about anything else.  He was not a fan of the rides at all.  In fact, he and Lincoln cried when we were getting on the Little Mermaid ride.  How do you get scared of watching the Little Mermaid?  After we finally saw Mickey Mouse, we were walking out and Baylor told me he was ready to go home.  He had seen all he needed to see.  I hate that I didn't get a picture of Baylor by himself with Mickey because he was so excited to meet him.
Briley was loving the Magic Kingdom this year.  She kicked off her day by riding Space Mountain, which scared her so we stayed pretty tame the rest of the day.  Her favorite ride was Thunder Mountain Railroad.  It was actually the first time that I had ever gone it myself.  After our morning at the park, we went back to our resort for naps.  Our room all slept well.
That night we went back to the park to eat with the Beast at Be Our Guest.  Such a cool restaurant!!!  We ate in the ballroom where we watched it snowing out of the windows which was pretty neat.  There was also the West Wing which was really dark and had the rose that would lose a petal every 12 minutes and a thunderstorm would go off.  The last room was the music box which is where the rest of the family sat.  Baylor wore a button all day that said it was his birthday so he got the "Gray Stuff"  its delicious for dessert with a candle.  They sang happy birthday and he got a special birthday card from Belle and the Beast.  He was so happy.
After dinner we rode more rides and watched the fireworks display.  We then rode a few more rides and watched the Electric Parade.  We were right up front and it was amazing that so many characters noticed Baylor's button and wished him a happy birthday.  Tinkerbell, Alice and Wonderland, and a dwarf gave hime a kiss.  He was loving every moment.  After the parade we bought souvenirs and made our way back to the hotel.  It was a perfect day.
The next morning we went to Hollywood Studios.  The other group was running a little late so we took Baylor to get some autographs which was really the highlight for him  He got so excited about meeting the characters and would have been pleased if we would have done that all day.  After everyone got there we went to eat breakfast with the Disney Junior characters and again Baylor got a special treat and card.  He was loving the perks of wearing his birthday button;)  The rest of the day was spent riding rides and going to different shows.  Everytime we go to the park, Andy forces me to ride a ride that I would rather not and this year was Tower of Terror:/  I'm pretty sure I was more scared than Briley, but by the picture I am sure she wasn't really enjoying herself either.  I agree that the ride is really neat, but that drop just about does me in.  We finish off our Disney experience with a visit to a soda shop called Beaches and Cream for the kiddos to order "Everything but the Kitchen Sink"  As you can imagine, it was big and had everything you could think in it.  Yum!

Don't the boys look like they are loving it?

She was really trying to get his nose.
