May Days

We kicked off this month with our annual May Day baskets that Baylor helped me put together.  The day was a little on the chilly side, but we weren't going to let that keep us down.  Briley was really funny this year because she would keep going back up to the door and ringing it if they didn't answer it the first time.  We get a lot of solicitors around here so people ignore their doorbell...me included.

Soccer season is coming to a close this week with one more game on Tuesday and then practice and pizza on Wednesday.  Briley got her first hat trick at last week's game so she was pretty excited about that.
This past week Briley had her last field trip of the year to the zoo, and Andy was lucky enough to chaperone the trip.  Briley was excited to see the new penguin exhibit that opened this past fall.  Since she had some fun at the zoo, Baylor, Finley, and I went to Deanna Rose.  They have added a Blacksmith shop, old photo store, and barber shop which are pretty cool.  Baylor is cheap to take unlike Briley because he is too scared to ride the horses, feed the fish, or goats.  He likes to watch from a distance.  Speaking of him being a scaredy cat, I took him to the doctor for his yearly check up.  We read about Froggy going to the doctor all week, and what does Baylor do?  He starts crying as soon as they ask him to get on the scale.  I mean hysterical the whole way through the appointment.  He didn't even know about the shots that were coming at the end.  As you can tell we don't go to the doctor very much, in fact, Baylor has never been on an antibiotic.

Loves Cool Whip!

We learned how to clap this week.
I love Baylor's style right now.  Pants too short and holes in his shoes.
