Finley Grace celebrated her first birthday last week. It is hard to believe that a year has flown by so quickly, but I think I say that every time we celebrate a first birthday. I was blessed to be able to slow down a little bit this year though, and really spend time soaking up Finley as a baby. Andy and I have talked about several times that with Briley and Baylor, we were excited for them to move to the next stage and eager for them to meet milestones. With Finley, we just enjoyed her being the baby and really didn't push her to grow up. I guess maybe that is why she acts like the princess:)
Finley at one weighs in at 17 pounds 13ounces and is 28.3 inches tall. She is very independent and will spend all morning roaming the house playing. She has started pulling up and cruising, but not walking yet. I know it is going to be before too long and she will be off. She loves snuggling with her blankets and giving hugs. Lately she has learned how to say hi and bye. She will stare at herself in the mirror and say these two words over and over while she waves. She is also a great eater, and fruit is her favorite. She is happy as a clam when you give her strawberries, watermelon, blueberries, apples, grapes, peaches, raspberries, and don't even try to eat a banana in the same room as her.
Happy Birthday Miss Finley!
