Christmas Traveling

We made our way back to Kirksville to celebrate Christmas with all of our families on Christmas Eve.  We went to my Dad's that night for dinner, and we had our Christmas with my Uncle Rick and Lisa.  Amity made it home and showed up around 8:00 and it was wonderful to have her home this year.  Things just weren't the same without her hear last year.  After we opened a few presents and said our goodbyes we went to Andy's parents to quickly get dressed for a family picture before Midnight Mass.  By this point, I think Andy and I were both feeling tired from the early morning.
Midnight Mass was beautiful as usual.  Briley and Baylor slept through it, but Finley was wide eyed for the whole service.  After Church we drove back home, and all I could think about was getting into my cuddly new Christmas pj's and going to bed.  Our pajamas this year were super cute, and I don't know if they were purchased before or after I sent the picture of them when I saw them at the store.  We listened to T'was the Night Before Christmas; Papa version and we were off to bed.
The next morning we all got up and the kids opened their mittens while we waited for the Farwell clan to get there.  After everyone was there and ready, we opened the doors to the living room and the craziness began.  The funniest part for me was watching Baylor patiently wait for his presents.  It seemed that everyone had found one except for him, and you could tell he was just the tiniest bit nervous that maybe Santa hadn't left him one.

It was a wonderful Christmas with Baylor finally getting his Jake and the Neverland Pirate Ship, Briley got her Magic Kit which means she is entering the school talent show, Finley was really just excited about carrying around wrapping paper, and Andy and I got two nights at Big Ceder kid free!  Thank you Grandma and Papa for volunteering to take our kids for us;)  

We spent the rest of the morning/afternoon lounging in our pajamas and eating.  I later took the kids over for naps at my Mom's before dinner that night.  We finally got around to getting cleaned up and then it was dinner time.  My family came over for dinner and Amity and Asa got their first cup of Killday Egg Nog.  After dinner we opened our sibling gifts, packed up an overnight bag, and went to my Mom's for Christmas with her.
