Happy Easter!

Last week was Easter and we spent the weekend in Kirksville.  It was great to see everyone over the weekend and overall it was pretty relaxing.  We ate dinner at my Dad's Friday night and he and Baylor made a plan to go train watching Saturday morning.  Baylor loves going train watching so he was pretty excited.  Briley likes the ice cream at Dairy Queen after train watching.  Dad took Baylor and then we planned on meeting for ice cream afterwards.  Andy had just gotten the pitching machine out though when it was time for ice cream so she decided to stay and practice.  She has been getting scared of the pitching machine at softball practice after one of the girls got hit so it was good for her to practice.  In the end it paid off because she did great at practice last Monday.  The fear is somewhat over.
We went to Church with my Mom and Jeff on Sunday and then we headed over to do the egg hunt at Andy's parents.  We attempted a family picture which did not turn out so great, so we will try again on our Holy Early weekend.  After the hunt, we packed up our things and went to my Mom's for another hunt and lunch.  My Grandma was able to make it up for lunch, and it was great to see her.  We stopped by my Dad's, and then again at the Cleavers to pick up some lotions for Atticus and his dry skin before we headed home.
On our way home it began to rain, so our hunt at home was a little wet and quick.  We finally got everything unpacked and began to get ready for school on Monday.
This past week was a busy one as all of our activities are beginning to collide.  We go about a month where Briley has a practice every night of the week except for Friday and Saturday:/  It is crazy, but Andy has been helping with pick ups which is nice.  This week they will interfere with the beginning of games which will be fun.  I don't know what we will do when the others begin activities.
This weekend Andy began painting our living room and kitchen.  I loved the way it turned out!  I am always so nervous about changing paint colors, but I really think this brightens up our room.   It flows really well with the cabinets that Andy just painted a few weeks ago.
Briley had her father daughter dance Saturday night.  She was so excited about getting all dressed up and going, but her Dad is not a big fan.  I told him he could probably persuade her into something else next year if he really wanted to.  They went to Mi Ranchito for dinner and then the dance.  We haven't started the Mother Son nights yet, but Andy does not think it is fair that we go to a Royal's game with tailgating beforehand:)

Finley was not interested in the hunt.

Briley and Baylor were taking it pretty serious.
Baylor was the winner of the golden egg at my Mom's and Briley was not happy about it.

I deal with this every morning.  Briley and Finley have to drag all of their blankets and animals downstairs.

Ready for the dance.

Mr. Atticus has really started smiling at us, and I am loving it.  He has the cutest little dimples that melt my heart every time.   This baby may get away with anything he wants.
