Thanksgiving

Wednesday afternoon we got back to Kirksville and we went to Wal-Mart to buy gifts for our babies that we adopted from Lifeline Pregnancy Center.  After that we went to my Dad's for dinner.  He made chili, and Finley thought it was too spicy, but the rest of us liked it.
Thursday morning we were off to Baring for Thanksgiving with the Killdays.  It was nice to see everyone and the kids had a great time playing outside.  There was only one little injury on the merry go round, and that was it.  Finley had a nice chat with Bob Killday, and I wish I would have gotten a picture of it.  He gave her his gum when they were done, and she was a happy about that.
Friday was Thanksgiving at Mom's house.  Grandma came up for awhile, and it was a good day for her. Jeff smoked a turkey that was really delicious.  That evening we had Ellie's birthday party.  It is hard to believe that she is 11 years old.
Saturday we delivered our gifts to the Lifeline center, and then Lissy took some fun pictures of the kids before our third Thanksgiving meal.  After we had another great dinner, we went to the Cleavers for awhile to see them.  It has really been too long since we have gotten together.  After that I met some of Andy's family, and my Mom at the movie theatre for Wonder.  I loved it and so did Briley.  Such a great message to all of us.
The next day we made our rounds and were back on the road to home.  It was a great trip, and we enjoyed spending time with family.  I do think I might have gained a few pounds while we were there.
