Seven Year Itch and Father's Day

Happy Father's Day!!  Today was a lazy day around the Early household.  We watched some movies, did a little cleaning, and then I made Andy the dinner that he requested.  He loves fried chicken and its one I don't make very often because it is so messy, but its Father's Day so he got it.  We also gave him some new shirts and a cute book called When Dad's Don't Grow Up.  He spent the day laying on the bed and watching the Cardinal's game which is something he rarely does.
Saturday night Amity watched the kids and we went down to the Plaza for the night to celebrate our seven year anniversary.  We stayed at the Marriott, which is right by our old apartment.  We ate at Fogo de Chao which as always, got some drinks at O'Dowd's, and capped the evening off with cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory.  Did you know they are open until 12:30 a.m? This morning we slept in until 9:00 which we haven't done in awhile and it was bliss.  It was a great way to kick off the seven year itch.

My helpers

Baylor has been one busy boy lately.  The terrible twos have begun in full force.  Friday night he got into the permanent markers and colored all over my upholstered dining room chairs, the carpet, and pictures that we had taken down when we were painting the walls last week.  Of course this was not where it ended, he got into Amity's makeup on Saturday and marked his whole face with eyeliner.  Andy got him cleaned off and went down to the kitchen to find a whole carton of eggs broken all over the floor.  That's when we cleaned it up and ran out the door.  He has really been keeping us on our toes.
