Our summer vacation this year was to the beach and it is hard to believe that it has been 3 years since we had been there. We went over the Fourth of July week which meant a little bit more of a crowd but I really enjoyed the atmosphere. We stayed at a little area called Magnolia Cottages by the Sea and it was about 2 miles from Rosemary Beach and 6 miles from Seaside. Andy and I really enjoyed checking out each of the different areas on 30-A. Each one has a different feel and personality, but we found something that we liked about each of them.
Highlights from our trip:
*Baylor's reaction to the ocean...so funny. He was a little intimidated by the ocean. He would not get close to it unless you held him. If you sat him down he would take off running as fast as he could to get away from the waves before they got him. Pretty entertaining:)
*Seaside's Fourth of July parade was really worth getting up for.
*Perfect firework shows on the beach.
*Charley's donut shop in Alys Beach...Andy got up at 6:30 in the morning to get them and they were sooo worth it. (Red velvet was the best)
