Happy Halloween!

October was here and gone so quickly!  We have almost finished up sports with Briley and Baylor doing one last soccer tournament this coming weekend.  Basketball starts this week, we just don't seem to get a break between seasons.  Thankfully, it will just be Baylor and Atticus playing.  Our winters are somewhat slower around here, and that is much needed.

We have had some fun throughout October with our booing, a couple of fun Halloween parties, birthdays, pumpkin patch, and Briley went to Haunted Worlds of Fun.

We lucked out with beautiful weather for Halloween.  The kids did not have school so they went with me to help at the preschool.  We then came home and cleaned the house before friends came over to trick or treat.  We had pizza with friends at our house, and then went over to a neighbor's house to trick or treat as a big group of families from Atticus's grade.  Baylor went trick or treating with one of his buddies, and Briley and her friend went to a fancy neighborhood to trick or treat thinking they would get really good candy.  It turned out to be a fail for them as the houses are so far apart, and she said some people weren't very nice.  She thinks maybe she is getting too old.  It was a great night, and they all came back with pillowcases full of candy to enjoy before Mom takes it all.
