Atticus's Favorites

Atticus celebrated his birthday while we were in Beaver Creek, and I can't think of a place that would  have been better for that kid.  He loved his special day!  When we got back home, we celebrated again with his friends.  I broke down, and did the party they have all begged for years to have...Urban Air Trampoline Park.  With everything going on, it was just the simple choice.  I didn't have to lift a finger, and the boys all had a blast!  He was living his best life, although I know I'll hear about it from the others.  "The baby always gets everything."

Atticus at 8, is full of energy.  He is always on the go, and telling us all how things should be done.  My sister was emptying our dishwasher out the other day, and he informed her every time she put something away incorrectly.  She laughed, and then told him to put it where it belongs.  He likes everything done a certain way.

He still loves all of his sports.  Basketball has ended, and we are now in soccer mode, with baseball coming very soon.  He loves being outside playing with his siblings or friends.  Sleepovers have started, and his buddy Dean is here a lot.

He also has begun his newest obsession, Pokemon and sports card trading.  He can't seem to get enough of those cards, along with his friends.  Funny how quickly the phases come and go.

School is going well this year, and he has the sweetest teachers.  I have been working in his class once a week, and love getting to know all the kiddos and his teacher a little more.  He is a hard worker, and I can't wait to see what he does one day.

We love you so much Mr. Atticus from your sweet eyelashes and freckled nose to your toes.  You make me want to pull my hair out one moment, and hug you so much the next.  You are the perfect caboose to our family.
