Merry Christmas! We began Christmas Thursday night with an annual trip to Stroud's, and it was delicious as always. We then came home and the kids opened their pj's, set out their cookies, and dumped the reindeer food outside. The kids were then off to bed, and I captured a few pictures of our house at Christmas. The next morning we all got up and headed downstairs to see what Santa sent us. Briley went straight to the guitar that she had been requesting and Baylor loved his new tool bench. After opening all of her presents, Briley said,"Oh, Santa forgot to bring me Cheetos." After everything she got! Well, luckily Santa had put some in her stocking and she ate them for breakfast. It was Christmas after all so we let her. Andy gave me an amazing collage of pictures to go up our staircase, and I love them. We put them up this week and they really look good. I got him a dremel for all of his projects around the house and he seems excited to get started. Briley made the cutest gift for us this year at school. It is a cookbook made up of recipes from her and her friends. They talk about their favorite food and how you should prepare it. Hilarious! After opening our gifts and having breakfast, we packed up our things to begin the long trip home in the snow. We finally made it safely home Christmas Eve and spent the rest of the day spending time with all of our families and going to Church. Briley and Baylor were sweet enough to sleep in Christmas day so we weren't as drained as we have been in the past. We got up and opened presents at Andy's parent's house and then went to my Dad's to open presents. That night we ate a feast at Andy's parent's and then went to my Mom's for her Christmas. Thank you to everyone for making Christmas so memorable this year! We are now at home and I am busy organizing the house and getting things back in order before New Year's. Briley has a had a lot of fun playing with all of her new toys this week. She told me today that she was really sad that Christmas was over, and I would have to agree. Andy is trying to get me to take down the tree and I just can't bear to do it quite yet. I hate to let it go. We hope everyone had a great Christmas and we will see you in the new year.
