Field Trips and Cinderella

Two weeks ago Asa came down to stay with us for a week to go to Kelsey's softball tournament that was being held just down the road from our house. While he was here, he was lucky enough to go on a field trip to the Wyandotte County Fair with Briley's class. It was a field trip that was one of the kids favorites and one of the teacher's least favorite. It was sooooo hot and dusty!!! We went through the barns to check out the prize winning horses, goats, pigs, and cows. We then got to watch a pig race, stunt show, petting zoo, magic, show and then a concert. The kids loved it all!
Lissy came to town on Thursday and we went to the Starlight Theatre to see Cinderella which Briley loved. Baylor was not so good during the show. Unfortunately I forgot my camera, but lucky for us we had a photographer tagging along to take pictures for us. Briley is still singing, "the prince is having a ball!" and "Impossible". She is my theatre buddy.
Last week we had our very last field trip of the summer and it was by far my favorite. We went to the Marble Moon Factory. The kids got to watch them make marbles, learn marble games, and pick out about 20 marbles to take with them. Briley loves looking at them and asking everyone what their favorite marble was. It was really a fun little shop with some really cool unique toys. It was a great way to wrap up the end of our summer camp. By the way, it is hard to believe that we are wrapping up our summer. School starts next week!
Baylor is officially done getting new teeth in until his two year molars which Andy says will probably come early because that is just our luck. I have never seen a boy have such a hard time getting teeth, but I think everyone can agree that he does. Hopefully we will have a happier baby on our hands from here on out:)
