Go Green Appple!

This was a busy weekend for the Early family. Andy's Parents and the Sedlaks came in Friday night for the weekend. Papa and Grandma brought a big surprise for Briley and Bella. When they pulled up, Ellie jumped out. The girl's were so excited to see each other. We had put the Sedlak's in the larger guest bedroom and Andy's Parent's in Briley's room. Well, Ellie was sleeping in there so Briley wanted to sleep in there, and then of course Bella joined in, and then to top it off, Viva hopped in bed with them:) They were in the smaller room and had the most people. We could still hear them talking at 12:15 that night.
The next morning we all got up and went to Briley's first soccer game. This girl was sooooo excited to play soccer this weekend. She has been wearing her uniform, cleats, and shinguards since I had bought them, and now she was able to officially use them. Her team was called the Green Apples and they were a hoot. Briley scored a goal it's just too bad it was in the wrong goal. She reminded me a lot of my brother Asa because she is so dramatic while playing. She was doing turns and falling on the ground as she would run down the field. The ball was often times not even near her. After the game, the kiddos all took naps before getting ready for a wedding.
Andy's cousin got married Saturday night and it was so much fun. The ceremony was in a beautiful old Catholic Church and then the reception was in the building that shared the same parking garage of our old loft downtown. It was such a cool old building with a beautiful ballroom. The reception was also full of a lot of cute details, wonderful food, and a great DJ that we could not get the girls away from. Briley literally danced from the moment she walked into the recetption hall. It was funny when the bride walked in. Briley looked at Andy and said, "She looks just like Snow White." She just kept falling her around and at one time I caught her feeling her dress. So cute. Baylor on the other hand was terrified of her in the big dress. I think he thought that she was a character from Disney which he was not fond of. At one point Briley walked up to me when a slow song came on and she asked me if I would dance with Daddy. I thought he may have told her to ask me but it was all her. I went out to the floor and I heard her telling Grandma, "Ohh look at Autumn and Andy dancing." Yes, she did use our first names like we were a couple of friends that she had just set up. She is too funny.
Today, as everyone was packing up and getting ready to go, Briley decided she was going to give Bella and Ellie one of her marbles that she got at the marble factory. She let them each pick out one "happy thought" so that they could remember the fun weekend they had had. We then went out to breakfast before everyone left. The rest of the day was just relaxing and getting ready for school tomorrow.
