Waiting Game

I thought I would post a little update before Baby four meets us tomorrow.  We have impatiently been waiting for the baby to come these past few weeks.  Andy and I have cleaned the house every night in case the baby comes and I think we are both tired of the crazy, meticulous cleaning.  Andy even bought himself a new carpet cleaner that he has been using throughout the house.  He may have the nesting instinct more than me.  I think this time around I'm not as grumpy because I don't have to go to work everyday, and listen to parents walk in and say, "Oh your still here, how are you doing?"  Andy on the other hand still does, and he really didn't want to face them today.  He said some come by his cubicle more than once a day to see if he is still there.
Over the past few weeks I have done every trick in the book to get labor going.  I have been going to the fitness center to walk, and women have given me all kinds of tips.  One suggested castor oil with orange juice and that was one tip I just couldn't do, but everything else has been tried.  Andy even suggested I get a massage this past weekend and I am not one to turn that down.  I told the massage therapist that I hoped she could induce me and she was excited for the challenge.  She used essential oils that were supposed to help and she really worked all the pressure points to induce a labor.  I told Andy I would be a believer of essential oils if it worked, and it didn't.  At least it made me feel better to have my aches worked on.
Yesterday I went in for an NST and it was interesting to watch the babies movement.  Anytime I would have a contraction it would move away.  It is like this child has no interest in meeting us.  I think it is terrified of all the craziness it hears in our household, and has decided to stay put.  As you can imagine, Finley is okay being the baby for a little longer.
My doctor is out of town this week, and he really tried to get things going last week, but it didn't happen.  He scheduled me to be induced on February 23 when he got back, thinking that there would be no way that I would actually be pregnant.  I truly think that I could still be pregnant when he got back.  I met with Dr. Blevins who delivered Finley yesterday and she asked me how long I wanted this baby to cook.  I said that I was a okay with her delivering the baby as soon as possible.  She has a surgery today so Wednesday it is.  I'm really ok with that because all our kids were born on Wednesdays so its kind of fun that this one will be too.

Briley has been crafty this winter.  She made these two owl pillows from a kit that she got at Christmas.

Working on Valentine's

We went to the Westbottoms last weekend with Andy's parents to walk this baby out.  Andy and I found this sign and love the words.  So Baylor!  I want to do something with it.  A funny story and I actually need to get a picture of it.  Baylor got a stick bull at one store and Andy left his billfold.  We didn't realize it until we were leaving to go to dinner.  Luckily it was at the first store and we were on our way. We ate at BRGR which is a favorite of ours.  We got all the way home and I realized I left my purse there.  I have only done this one other time, and it was when I was pregnant with Finley.  So I drove all the way back to get it.  We are both losing it.  This picture was taken after the day of shopping in the Westbottoms.

Enjoying donuts on Valentine's Day

Finley has found a new chair for watching tv.

Baylor lost his first tooth yesterday morning!  He his getting way to big.

I took this picture this morning of all the robins that hang out in our front yard.  Aren't they supposed to go south?
Baylor and his Buddy
Baylor has been calling Andy his buddy lately, and it so cute.
