Well, now that the Cardinals are out of the playoffs:( We can get on with our Fall festivities:) Two weeks ago we made our way to the pumpkin patch. It hasn't been raining so I thought it would be perfect to go, and not have a muddy mess on our hands. It was a beautiful day, and a pretty good crowd. We found the perfect ones for Briley, Baylor, and Finley(Atticus will get a cheap one from the store because he doesn't care). The prices are a little higher than if we were to go to the store, but the kids love this annual trip so it is worth the extra four dollars a piece. I know one day they probably won't care about going, so I choose to bite the bullet now. You can picture Andy's eyes rolling right now I'm sure.

Just a Little Hocus Pocus
This past Friday we decided to take the kids to Deanna Rose for their Night of the Living Farm. The kids were excited to put their costumes on, but Finley only wore her's for about five minutes. We will see if she wears it on Halloween. It was during the Royal's game, and the park was a lot less crowded. Andy and Briley did the scary hayride last year, and they said it wasn't bad. We took all the kids on it this year, and Baylor did not like it at all. He kept asking us why we made him do it. Andy admitted that it was a little scarier than the year before. I guess we will go back to the not so scary hay ride next year. We roasted marshmallows, checked out the mad scientists, got some treats, and then it was time to head home. Baylor had no interest in going into the dance barn or the flashlight scavenger hunt in the woods. I think he lost his faith in Andy and I that those activities weren't scary. Oh the joy we find in scaring our kids!
Saturday was the end of Baylor's soccer season, and he went out with a bang! He scored four goals. He was pretty pleased with himself.
That night we went to dinner during the Royals game. The restaurant was packed, and everyone was yelling, "let's go Royals." Finley was so exited, and began to clap and chant "let's go Cardinals." It was pretty cute. We love the Cardinals, but I love the KC pride here right now. I giggle that everything revolves around when the Royals are playing. Practices are cancelled, Briley says the bus driver has the games on when he brings them home from school, fireworks going off literally after every win, and the cheers that erupt during dinner. So much fun!
After dinner, we took the kids home to watch Ghostbusters. They hadn't seen the movie before, and loved it! I forget how funny those movies are. I can't wait for the next one to come out.
Finally, Atticus has been on the go with his army crawl, and the boy is going everywhere, and eating anything he comes across on the floor. You have to watch him like a hawk. He also had one more tooth pop through this week.
