My goodness I got on here to do an update and realized I never posted after Disney! We have had so many things going on this month, and I have been busy preparing for the holidays so I guess the blog got overlooked.
After Disney we got home on the afternoon of Halloween. I made Briley a new hat for her costume since she lost hers on the barnstormer, and we had good intentions on trying to carve pumpkins but it never happened. The night was beautiful for trick or treating, and I really don't think we have ever had such a warm night. We gathered outside for pizza, drinks, and then we were off with the neighbors. Finley trick or treated down the first street and then she was done. Literally she had filled her bag. We did not go up to the door with her, and we think she must have just grabbed handfuls of candy. We made it around our block and got home around 8:00, took baths, and everyone crashed.

Finley went to the dentist for the first time on Tuesday afternoon. She has been wanting to go to the dentist like her siblings for a year now. She was giddy that it was finally her day. She hopped up in the chair, and did a great job. He kept talking about the space that she had between her teeth. He said she shouldn't have a hard time flossing. He also talked about her pacifier use, and how it is making her bite a little out of whack. That night Andy told her the dentist said she couldn't use her pacifier anymore, and she went to bed without it! She still sneaks one every now and then, and I do give in at nap time sometimes. We are getting there though.
On Wednesday, we went to Baylor's end of the soccer year party. It was at the Pizza Shoppe like with every sport's end of the year party. The difference is this coach really took the time to make the party meaningful. He had made a video that he showed of pictures that were taken throughout the season. So sweet! He then handed out trophies to each child with a story. When he got to Baylor he talked about how he liked to ask a lot of questions about things that he honestly did not always have an answer for, but he could tell he was always thinking and wanting to get better at soccer.
Next up was a trip to the zoo on Sunday. Finley had her class pet so we took him to the zoo. I love going when it is cool out because the animals seem to be more active. The rest of the weekend was just playing outside, basketball practice, and the school carnival.
Andy had his wisdom teeth taken out and a transplant put in a little over a week ago. It was the first time he has ever been knocked out for anything, and he did pretty well. Baylor and Briley were completely freaked out by him, and refused to go near him. We said we know how they are going to treat us when we are old if this was scary to them.
This past week was the end of another season of Girls on the Run. We had a practice run at school that I did with her, they made cookies and delivered them to the fire/police station for their service, and then they had a spaghetti dinner at one of their teachers houses. Andy ran the race with her on Saturday, and the rest of us cheered them on. It was a cold morning at Arrowhead, but she did really well. She ran it in 30 minutes and 9 seconds. I wish I could have gotten some better pictures, but I was holding Atticus when they ran by us. I love this organization, and I feel like she has grown such a bond with these teachers and girls.
After the race we came home and began decorating for Christmas. I have everything mostly up, and I did not do as much as we have in the past. It can sometimes be so crowded with everything out. We took a quick break during the decorating to run our Operation Christmas boxes up to the Church.
On Sunday, we went to our first open house in the hopes of finding a new place to call home soon. It is so bittersweet to leave the house we are in now. It is our first home and the one we brought three of our babies home to. We also put so much into this house. I think everyone thought we were crazy when we bought it because it did need so much work. It will be hard to move, but at the same time we are really outgrowing our home. We love the house we found, and we will see if it is still for sale after Christmas. Such a hard and stressful thing to choose the right place you can call home, and to ease the transition of moving for the kids. The house we like is not part of our elementary school, but I think it is close enough that I could still take them. I think it might send them over the edge if I tried to move them to a new school.
Today was Baylors Thanksgiving Play at school. I just think they are the cutest in their little Indian, Turkey, and Pilgrim outfits. Such a sweet group of kids. We were sitting in the gym waiting for the play to start, and they announced that students who had siblings in the program could come down to the gym. Briley was the first one in the door. You know she wasn't going to miss this.
