Briley and Baylor's Kamp Days

While we were having fun at home, Briley and Baylor looked like they were having a good time at Kamp.  Briley loved her last year at K-Kountry.  She said her counselors were great, and she liked going to K-7 to visit.  She is excited about that American Ninja Warrior course they have.  Briley's favorite party was Finding Komo.   Baylor had some fun and got a little home sick on his first year there.  We picked the kids up on Friday evening, and Baylor had unfortunately began to get sick that day.  He threw up before we got there, and then again during the closing ceremonies.  He had a rough night, but we made it home Saturday without him getting sick again.  He loved the blob the most and maybe minuture golf since that is what we always saw him doing in pictures.  He also had a funny story at one of the parties.  They had gone over to play in the pools at K-Kuai when Baylor needed to find his counselors.  He went to two guys and asked them if they new where the Barn 2 counselors were.  They said, "are you serious Baylor?"  He said yes, and they then said we are your counselors!  This is several days into camp.  Briley said the funny thing was that he just went into what he needed to ask them without noticing that it was odd that he didn't recognize them.
During the closing ceremonies, Briley received the Barnabas award and the Spike award.  They said Briley has the ability to make others feel welcomed and loved.  Her heart for others makes her a great friend.  Briley's excitement for life is shown through her desire to know the Lord and bring others with her in pursuit of what is good.  Baylor received the Friendship award and the Unsung Hero award. They said Baylor is a man of initiative and positivity.  His infectious energy spreads smiles to those near him.  Baylor's loving enthusiasm makes others feel welcome and will make him a light for Christ.
