Gone Camping

This past weekend we took a trip back home since we hadn't been there since Memorial Day  Briley went camping Friday night with my Dad and Asa at Thousand Hills and she loved it.  I'm not so sure that my Dad and Asa did though.  They complained that it was too hot and my Dad stubbed his toe walking around in the dark.  Maybe they can try again in the fall when things have cooled off a bit.
On Saturday we picked Briley and Carson up and went to Baring Lake to check out Grandpa Mike and Karen's new cabin.  I had not ever been out there before but I can now see why everyone likes it so much.  I'm sure it will be a great place for family memories on down the road.  We also got hair cuts, did a little swimming, and celebrated Kaitlin's birthday while we were back in town.

This week Briley gets to go to school for two days to test out Kindergarten and she is so excited.  I took her this morning and as I was walking out I thought; this is not to get the kiddos prepared for Kindergarten, this is to get the parents ready for Kindergarten:)
