Summer Days

We dropped Amity and Billy off at the airport the Monday after the wedding, but before we did that we took them to Q39 for dinner Sunday night and Top Golf Monday morning.  The kids always love going to Top Golf, and I think Amity and Billy enjoyed it too.
The next day was our anniversary.  It doesn't seem like it has been 14 years since we said I do.  Time flies when you are in the of middle raising a family.  To celebrate we went out on the town which is something we rarely do with just the two of us, but we had a great time.  We ate at an Italian restaurant called Lazia which is in the Crossroads Hotel.  We had plans to get drinks on the rooftop bar, but unfortunately it started to rain.  We headed over to Tom's Distillery for a drink, and then on to the Green Lady Lounge.  It was a neat little lounge with live jazz and blues most nights.  For being a Tuesday night, we were surprised to see that it was so crowded.  Such a fun night checking off a few places that I had been really wanting to check out.
Thursday night was Briley's swim meet.  This was her first one, and she has improved so much since last year.  She ended up getting two first place ribbons.  One for 50 yard free, and one for a free relay.  She was so excited!
